Adding your knowledge to the site. |
|
If you are a knowledgeable tradesman still working or are now off the tools, we would be interested to hear from you if you would like to contribute your wisdom to the website for visitors and people new to or thinking of joining the interior refurb industry. You can have your information or article published on Partitioners.co.uk, all you need to do is write your article based on an aspect of the job, your thoughts on the industry or anything else that is related to the job, ie tools, certification, CSCS cards, contra charges, contracts or lack of them on a job, the list is endless. The forums are another outlet for contributing to the site. If you are happy to advise others on Inland Revenue matters for example, or the fundamentals of starting out self employed, we would be interested to hear from you. On the forums, all you have to do is either make a post yoruself offering your ears OR just keep checking in and reply to posts as and when they are submitted by visitors, each time someone replies to you we will email you to let you know.
Partitioners.co.uk - Building an online community for UK tradesmen and businesses : - Though we are keen to support the UK tradesman, it's important that we also offer businesses their input on the site as well as for us the 'invisible'divide' between the tradesman and contractor or the client can often be huge and these divides can easily create misunderstanding and conflict or unrest on a job.
- Any knowledge we can receive and pass on through this website can only be beneficial to anyone visiting who is interested in what you do.
- Extended integration of the forums by both employer and employee with regular visits by tradesmen and businesses alike can help create a tighter working unit among the trades within the UK and could be a good source of advice and backing on jobs, particularly with regards to companies contra charging uneccessarily to cover costs OR for tradesmen who are 'robbed' when companies don't like paying or just refuse to pay and create an unprovable scenario of events to stop you getting paid even if you took them to court.
- Businesses looking to work with familiar and dedicated trades around the country and tradesmen wanting to be 'trusted' by businesses for future work working partnerships can be gained by joining in any discussions or information that is shown.
- Real, content on the website that reflects the daily working lives of both sides of the coin, business and worker can help give our visitors peace of mind when they go looking for information or refurbishment tradesmen and services.
- Though we appreciate that the 'tradesman' can be known as his own man, from our own on the tools experience, we feel this is mainly due to what can only be described as a mental 'divide' between the guys and girls who do the work and the client or those in control of the contracts.
- Training and understanding between the levels are key issues for us as we have seen the problems that can be had via lack of understanding on a job and pure greed by some contractors and companiesand we are more than willing to help create areas on the site that can be used for organisations and individuals alike, who offer facilities or knowledge that can teach new trademen looking to extend their working knowledge or gain required certificates in order that they can continue working with the least amount of hinderance as possible.
